S&S Environmental Consultants, LLC has teamed with F4 Tech to win a 5-year Resource Management Services Contract with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Florida Division of State Parks, Florida Park Service (FPS). The Florida Park Service (FPS) is part of the Department within the Division of Recreation and Parks, managing 175 locations across the state with lands and waters totaling approximately 800,000 acres. FPS’s mission is to provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting, and restoring natural and cultural resources. Maintaining and improving these natural and cultural resources is a very high priority, with significant emphasis placed on prescribed fire, invasive/exotic plant control and hydrological restoration. While this solicitation has a wide enough purview to conduct activities on any lands under Department management, the primary focus will be on state parks.
