S&S Environmental Consultants, LLC is pleased to announce the public opening of our new 45.93-acre Durham West (Tier 1) Gopher Tortoise Recipient Site (Permit Number GTLR-26-00003) in Calhoun County, Florida (Latitude: 30°30’01.9″N, Longitude: 85°05’12.8″W).
The Durham West Recipient Site has a permitted capacity of 127 gopher tortoises and may receive tortoises from the state line south to Dunnellon, Belleview, Deland, and New Smyrna Beach.
